Scenic Map 1.4 Preview

Scenic Map version 1.4 should be released some time in the next week. Its two biggest features are street names that follow roads and larger faster maps. On the new iPad there is an option that makes the maps four times as big to take advantage of the Retina display. You can now select between four different coordinate formats including UTM. It is now easier to enter Waypoints in any of the coordinate formats. The map data has been updated.

Next up will be an update to You Need A Map. It will get most of the new features in Scenic Map for free and will have an optional low cost in-app purchase for 3D mapping.
